Do you have a warranty?
Yes, we provide a standard 1-year limited warranty on all Trakalarm devices.
How do I install the device?

How long does the battery last?
The Trakalarm internal battery provides up to 3 days of backup power when disconnected from the main power source.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
Yes, our LTE tracking services require an active data plan. You can use your existing SIM card or purchase one from us.
Do I need to have my smartphone with me to use Trakalarm?
No, Trakalarm is a standalone device that works independently of your smartphone.
Does Trakalarm only send alerts to either iOS or Android devices?
Trakalarm sends alerts to both iOS and Android devices.
How many emergency contacts can I load
The standard number is 5, but you can purchase additional emergency contacts for a small fee
Does Trakalarm send alerts to a monitoring centre
No, Trakalarm sends alerts and live video / audio streaming to you saved emergency contacts
Does Trakalarm send alerts internationally
Yes, Trakalarm can send alerts internationally provided you have an active data plan that permits this
Can I purchase the Trakalarm device then at a later date purchase a Remote Access subscription
Yes you can. To do this you simply input your registered device Unique ID into the Remote Access purchase area in the shop then proceed to payment
Do I have to register my device to activate it
Yes, once you receive your Trakalarm device you must register it on our website to activate it
Can I add or delete my stored emergency contacts as needed
Yes, you can add or delete your contacts as needed. Full instructions are included in the user manual
What is the length of the live video / audio stream
We have initially set it at 30seconds, this preserves battery life and data usage while providing sufficient evidence of the situation
Is Trakalarm waterproof
Trakalarm is water resistant to IP67 standards
Is Trakalarm available in a form other than a wrist worn device
At the moment Trakalarm is only available as awrist worn device, but we have plans to release other forms in the future
